Date October 25, 2007

I have received the link from the Fantastic Lord Matt about Godaddy shady domain deals:

Lord Matt Emergency Notice: This is an emergency post made by Lord Matt on a server not quite ready to run his blog but placed here out of fear of reprisals from godaddy.com - if you have been “shafted” by godaddy over your dot uk domain names this page will show you what you can do to stop your domains being lost. I am not a solicitor so for solid advice on matters of law please talk to an expert.

One Response to “Is Godaddy Screwing With Uk Domains?”

  1. Promotional Dude said:

I had Godaddy as our previous registrar take our several Million dollar producing website off line in 2003 over a Yahoo group moderator complaint of us posting in their business advertising forum (relevant) with a simple tag line link to our site (standard practice these days). Godaddy said they sent us an email, which we never received, since we didn’t respond they turned our DNS off. So to put in nicely, the mention of godaddy makes my blood boil, don’t do business with them.
