I have had a great experience with Living Dot since I started creating blogs for non-profits in 2005. They have always responded to my requests and questions in a matter of minutes.

I have had to use other hosts when clients had already made a hosting agreement with some low cost, high volume firm and the difference is amazing. With Living Dot everything is straight forward and personal and I don't feel like I'm being constantly marketed to.

Their customer service is non-existent.

Questions never get answered, requests are ignored -- for a hosting service that claims to be a turn-key solution, there sure is an awful lot they don't do.

From the very beginning, when they completely ignored my request to install my blog in a sub-directory instead of on the site root, until the bitter end, when they refused to reimburse 27 days of unused hosting, they did nothing but blow me off.

The only thing they didn't fail to do was charge my credit card every month.
