Like others have stated my lunnarpages experience started off well. But in the last two years it has been on a steep decline. Support is generally incompetent and slow. I host a number of websites with them, which they have on occasion managed to sabatoge by making changes to the server and downtime has been on the rise. Perhaps they've grown too fast for their own good. I am looking for a new host and that is saying something given the amount of work invovlved in moving our sites.

I have several accounts with Lunarpages and have been happy over the past couple years, but recently that changed. One of their servers that hosts one of my accounts has been down now for 4 days and they are telling me it will be another 12 hours or more until it is back up and running. I have 130 e-mail users calling me for 5 days because they can't get e-mail. Lunarpages refuses to help me by moving my account to another server and if I switch hosting companies now I will lose the past 5 days of e-mail. They offer alot for the money if you can afford to be down for long periods of time.

I do not know what is so good about Lunarpages. I have purchased web hosting package three days ago and since it was the most terrible experience I have ever had with a host. My website is unaccessible half of the time. The phone support is horrible they make you wait as if there were thousands of customers calling them. Support people are very incompetent and tell me that on their side everything looks ok. I on the other hand can't access my website to do updates. Worst web host I have ever seen. Save yourself some trouble and find a different host.

I have hosted several sites on Lunarpages for several years. It was a dream until this past year. I have had many outages, and VERY poor support and VERY slow response. It has been frustrating to say the least. I am pulling all of my hosted sites off as soon as I can get my internal servers ramped up.

During my last phone call, the support person asked why I would host there if it was such an important wesbite. Everyone else should ask the same question, and their own suggestion was that if it is important, don't use them. I now agree.

I hosted previously with Lunarpages for two years. In that time I don't remember my sites EVER being down. Not once.

Another thing I loved about lunarpages is customer support. Seriously, it should be called "fanatical (in a good way)" customer support. They respond sometimes with in an hour.

Their prices are perfect if you need good uptime and support.

Their only drawback is their plans don't allow for as many addon domains as some of their competitors.
