Within last 3 weeks our access codes have been re-set 11 (!!!) times for "security reasons".
I guess we ought to be grateful and feel incredibly secure, however the price we have paid for this has become unbearable. Due to not being able to deliver files to a client by the deadline, we lost a project and consequently that particular client.
We feel increasingly frustrated and feel embarrassed for having to apologize to our clients for their repeatedly denied access. The unreliable service makes doing our job impossible.
We receive no less thank 4 marketing emails from NS per week, yet we have not once been notified of an interruption of service. NOT ONCE!
Since NS outsourced the CS and TS call center to Philippines the customer service and technical support are now unbearable due to cultural (+other) differences. 70% of the call time is spent listening the representative robotically apologizing in every sentence and repeating the same sentence over and over again. I understand that this might be intended as an expression of courtesy, but in truth it's utter waste of time and after the 30th apology, flat out annoying.
Nine years ago a phone call to NS was answered immediately, problems were promptly solved and the overall experience was so far above competition that it was worth paying more that for the competitors. Now I regrettably must say that NS is the worst and most unreliable vendor I conduct business with.
Was it greed that resulted in all this or simply a wrong hire to the top spot in the organization?

We have been with network solutions for a while now and believe me the only reason we are not changing is the added work that would be involved.
Most of our older clients and our own websites are hosted with network solutions and there is not a week that goes by that something goes wrong. Mail server stops working, website is offline for no reason.
Calling the support does not really help as they will always give you the same answer 1-3 business days to fix the problem. Can you imagine a business not able to get emails for 3 days??!! Ridicules!!
Right now our emails are not working for the 5th time this year alone. I would recommend all to seek other companies that are more stable and true to their costumers. Not once for losing business have they offered any form of compensation not once have they even apologized for their technical issues.
They use to be an excellent company but I believe they are far from excellence and maybe even given up perusing it

Since we moved our sites to their servers one month ago, we have opened 4 service tickets; three of which are still open, and the one resolved was simply to cancel an auto-renew account (yes, they let you sign-up for a hosting account, but you need to call and beg them to stop it from renewing every month).
We have sent several follow-up emails, but each response is canned support rhetoric. “We are committed to creating the best customer experience possible...” “You will be contacted within 24 hours…” Yes, we received an autoresponse, but no resolution.
Calling for technical support does little good because their level 1 support staff is not knowledgeable enough to help, and the request usually needs to be handed up the ladder to someone too busy to respond.
NetSol is great for the small business which doesn’t put too much stake in their Internet presence. If you rely on e-mail, web-catalog, etc., then look elsewhere.

My WordPress.org blog has been hosted on Network Solutions since I launched it in February '08. I have been very pleased with the support provided. We have a company website that we have run on a different less expensive host since 2004 that we intend to move over to Netsol in the near future.

I've been with Network Solutions since early 2006. I started hosting my website there because I could manage all the setup tools myself; the tools have evolved over time to offer me even more flexibility- and best of all, I can have a professional and functional website without having to outsource the design.
Customer service has been very good when I have needed it; most of the time though, everything has run so smoothly, I rarely need to contact someone.
While I occasionally investigate other solutions, including hosted blogs on perhaps less expensive hosts and the like, I have to say that the ease of use of the Network Solutions web design tools and the stability keep me from switching. I occasionally hear complaints from friends about their website going down and host issues, but I can say I have never had that problem with Network Solutions.
I should also note that Network Solutions has been very supportive to Podcamp, a new media unconference I have helped organize, so I am very pleased with their interaction with the community as well. There are no real downsides to using Network Solutions, at least for me! I am a very happy customer!
