Top 10 Web Hosting Providers of 2009 (Editor’s Choice)

As was promised in the previous post for earlier today, I present to you another list of top ten web hosting providers. As you can see the list below is quiet different. I strongly suggest that neither lists should be seen as a deciding factor before you purchase your web hosting. You should take your time to do your own research. Unlike any other purchase, when buying web hosting services, you are going to be “married” to your web host for quiet some time.

Of course you can help us to improve by reviewing your current or former web hosting provider. Again, I wish you a happy and healthy 2010!

Zyon is absolutely the worst hosting provider we have ever used. In the 12 years I have been doing this I have never had such down time running an internet site. We were actually unlucky enough to decide to host 4 sites with Zyon and all 4 go down about one to two times per week. You should be suspicious of any hosting provider that does not provide their contact information in the form of a physical location or at least city name. I can tell you we are starting the process of a lawsuit this week. Fraudulent inferior hosting. — Brian Engles, CTO, MindPoint Learning Systems.
