I too use Vodahost. I chose them after alot of looking around as they seemed the best option for my needs. However, I have to say that while their support ticket team have been really good (if rather slow on the uptake when it comes to how questions are worded, I’m not sure if that’s something to do with the way English is ACTUALLY spoken compaired to American English), but the support forum leaves a hell of a lot to be desired. If in any way you are negative in tone because things don’t work, or the Mod answering you isn’t actually answering your questions, then they edit or delete your posts. Yes guys, I’ve had my actual posts edited by a Moderator to make it look like I’ve said things I haven’t. They have deleted posts, retimed them and put them out of order, and one even edited my posts to make it look like he had actually helped me when he had done nothing but actually insult me! Yep, I pay for the priviledge of actually being insulted in the forum. I was then banned in the forum for MY behaviour!
When I complained to admin about it all all I got was ‘Moderators can edit, remove, delete posts without explaination’. I then really kicked up a fuss and demanded that the thread be put back in its original, unmoderatored form. I was reinstated but the thread was just deleted instead. So it looked like the jerk of a mod actually helped when he didn’t.
People have consistantly been abused by moderators in Vodahost’s support forum, but if you dare to defend yourself you get banned. Their forum appears rosey and light, but it’s anything but that. It’s just that anything deamed negative by their team is just deleted and the person banned.
As for the complaints of others losing data and such. If you have built your pages yourself in their builder, please backup your work on your own hard drive. Make disc copies too if you have to. If you currently have a site that isn’t saved…..open each page, click on ‘file’ at the top of the screen, click ‘save as’ select ‘save as webpage’ and you then have all your data saved ready to transfer to another hoster. You may have to edit the html once you upload it to realine everything.
As for domain names….If you got it through Vodahost then it probably came free with your hosting and so it does belong to them unfortunately. I seriously recommend that you move your domain to someone else so it’s out of their control. That way, whilever you pay for it it is yours.
Never trust everything to one company and back everything up everytime you change anything!

I have a total of three websites that are hosted with this company and the thought of taking my business anywhere else has never appealed to me. When everything is running smoothly and stress is not an issue with my websites, then there is no reason to look for another host provider. The three sites that I have are always up and running and there are never any issues such as my site being pulled off line because of bandwidth usage. This seems to be a favorite with other companies. I hear a lot of horror stories out there about people who needed to change their accounts because their company has done something or are neglecting their duties and had already taken their money. I am so glad that this has not happened to me. I only receive the best support from their staff members.
Also, when I realize how far I have come in terms of knowledge then I feel that credit has to be given to this company. They provide me with step by step tutorials on how to manage my account as well as giving me the ability to add further features and facilities whenever I need it. Another great thing that I love about this company is that they provide a forum for all their customers. This gives me the chance to exchange ideas and talk about new ways and upgrades in improving my website. If I have a problem, the staff members are also participating on the forum and they will respond with an answer very quickly. My knowledge has increased so much over the years and the first thing that I would say to any novice is to make sure you place your website with a company that will help you to make your website one of the best on the World Wide Web just as my websites have been with these guys.

Better thing is that dont go with vodahost its useless, its used for only personal r testing purposes bcoz u cant use more than 3gb monthly bandwidth, its waste , if u used more than that your account will be suspended. My suggestion is dont go for that
