Do not choose WebHostingPad, they have terrible hosting protection. They are not as responsive as a quality hosting service should be (e.g. they did not answer their phone and they only responded to email when threatened). They also incorrectly charged me for the plan I had requested.

This is such a great hosting company. Whenever I had a problem I just called it in and they helped me so much. Also I didn’t know hosting could be so cheap, and with the coupon I had, I saved so much more than if I’d gone with someone else. I’m very happy with Webhostingpad. Thank you for all your great support and great features!

I signed up for 3 years unfortunately.
This provider has been a problem from the start, the main aim is to get your card details, after when you need service, to be contacted by different student types who have no knowledge or authority.
After 6 months could not get a connection, 12 months later I decided to cut my losses & run!
    I had tried 3 other ‘service providers’ & on a scale 1 to 10 they would get – 100.

    Be warned.

Webhostingpad.com is the worst web host scam in the world… Two years ago, I made the mistake of signing of for two years of hosting. Three months later, I cancelled my account (lost all of my money I paid for two years)… and I went to a much better web host. Then, I just discovered they illegally billed my credit card again for another two years without my permission. I emailed them about this, and they responded in their typical fashion- rude and ugly. I reported this fraud to my credit card company and had the charge removed. I have filed a complaint with the IC3 and the FBI. I also filed a report with the Secret Service, and am working on a report with the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau.

Just like Allen said, they say 99.9% uptime and that is a huge lie!
I’ve had a few other downtimes that were a few hours (that i noticed) and my website has now been down almost an entire day.
This is a HUUUGE inconvenience because my main email is ran through it and I was going to start using the space for websites for local businesses. So much for that!

Scammers and fraud. Guarantee of 99.9% uptime is fraudulent, and they are not accredited by Better Business Bureau, probably too many complaints! Stay away from these guys!

I am very much satisfied with the host. There technical support on chat and tickets are simply awesome especially Brent S. This is my 3rd year with them and until now i don’t have any problem. My site is UP all the time. I can recommend to anyone to have this host.

    Regards,

Webhostingpad accused me of sending spam to a double opt-in verified list. They shut down all of my websites saying they received complaints. I sent 900 email to subscribers. They wont reply to my emails, and the helpdesk just hangs up on me when I call to get this problem resolved.

I cant believe how poor their customer service is!

Save your time and aggravation and look for a host somewhere else!

Just contacted their sales rep via chat. The person took over 5mins to reply to my hello with a generic “How can I help you?” and then, once I quoted the above guy’s review and asked whether it’s true – the WebHostingPad.com rep actually closed the chat window on me!

Total waste of time. Stick to DreamHost or HostGator!

The WebHostingPad.com is most likely a one man operation somewhere in India – forget Illinois, forget customer service, forget professional sales reps!

    WEBHOSTINGPAD.COM IS REALLY BAD NEWS!

I used them for the last year. Their service was OK although I experienced many times when the site ran really really slowly. I usually took a couple of back and forth exchanges with tech support to clear it up which meant the site was running poorly for several hours at least. Either that or sit on hold for 30 minutes waiting to speak to someone.

******* SO, here’s where it gets REALLY BAD. ***********

I decided after a year of this that I had prepaid for that the company wasn’t suiting my needs, so I did not want to renew. When renewal reminder e-mails came in I tried to reply saying I wasn’t interested in renewing. They bounced back.

12 DAYS LATER I STARTED RECEIVING COLLECTION CALLS AND A LETTER FORM A COLLECTIONS AGENCY. YES, THIS COMPANY SENT A COLLECTION AGENCY AFTER ME FOR SERVICES THEY HADN’T PROVIDED AND I SAID I DIDN’T WANT.

The billing department rep was rude and unresponsive to any discussion about trying to resolve this in any other way than paying this full years prepaid fee.

My attempts to resolve this have been blown off.

    JUST FYI.
